So that's what It feels like

Lioness and her family are visiting a street fair. Most booths are outside in a playground, but there is also a section of booths inside a cave. When lioness and her family decided to go in the cave, Lioness did not really find anything that was too fascinating. At the last booth, Lioness stopped. Two elderly beagle dogs were selling old (and current) currency from all over the world. Lioness wanted to find Israel's (her country of Origin), and show it to her father. Maybe he'd find it cool. He didn't seem so interested, when Flappers boyfriend, Baby Turkey looked at his own countries old money and showed it to my dad he seemed more interested. (polite?)

After BT bought a coin, and Lioness and Flapper bought a few pieces of Jewelry, on the way home everyone got ice cream, and went back home.

But that's not the end of that story. You see, while everyone was looking at the money, Lioness managed to steal one of Israel's $1,000,000 bills.  By the next day it had been announced on the news that a bill was stolen from the fair and that police were looking into it.

Guilt set over Lioness, "Shit I don't even remember taking it! I don't even know why I would do it, but now I have it". To get rid of it, she dug a hole a foot or two deep in the ground, put the money bill in a small chest and covered it. Lioness thought, no one would find it that way.

When flapper and Lioness's parents found out that the item was stolen from the news, they discussed it with the kids over dinner. Saying how serious of an offense that was. Guilt swept over Lioness. She really didn't want the damn money. She felt horrible about the whole thing, it was a big secret that she didn't know if she could keep. She wanted to yell out "I have it! Come take it" but was too afraid.  The parents looked around at everyone waiting to see if they'd crack, but Lioness stayed strong. She didn't laugh out of guilt, or give away any indication she had something to do with this. Flapper looked at  Lioness to see if she'd break. Maybe Flapper had suspicions for a brief moment.

Meanwhile, the television news was reporting that police were going to take immediate action when they find the perpetrator and prosecute them and give them jail time.

A few days later the police found the surveillance tape of the people looking at the money booth in the fair. They were closing in....on someone else. Phew! a bit of relief...but how long will it last? How long can Lioness keep this secret in?! She felt guilty, sad, and heavy. There was nothing she could do now to make it better.

While working together at a restaurant, the police announced that they found the chest with the bill, Flapper asked Lioness if she did it. Lioness couldn't control it anymore, she smiled and said no in a last effort, but Flapper caught her bluff. She flipped out and started yelling that she did it. Lioness didn't know what to do...She left the restaurant and left the customers, not thinking about them so much about how mad she was at Flapper for screaming at her in public and exposing her to others. If she was genuinely mad or concerned, why couldn't flapper talk to Lioness about it in private?

Now everyone was looking at Lioness and her guilt. She knew she shamed her family. And when her dad tried to talk to her, she couldn't and continued walking.

Lioness felt like "the most hated woman in the world". That line kept repeating itself in Lioness's head as she cried and walked home.
