Lioness is in a children's festival, her cousin has a party for her birthday and Lioness and her family are joining the celebration. After leaving the party, she enters a cave. Inside the cave, children and parents are roaming around with flashing lights. The only logical conclusion is that this is a kid's themed party. Lioness wants to explore every part of this huge fun house type of cave.

When she reaches the end, her and flapper spot a lonely child. Lioness and flapper approach it cautiously trying to befriend it and find out where it's parents are.  Flapper manages to throw a wipe to the child which wraps itself around him. It doesn't hurt it, it is quite common actually, and is only meant to keep him from straying away.

However, it appears as though a mean, bad guy has come and wants to harm the child. He takes water and tries to throw it at flappers wire wipe so that the young boy gets electrocuted.

"No!" screams Lioness. "Who would want to harm a child?!" Instead she focuses the attention of the mean man at her and is willing to take the lashing.  The mean man bumps his knee into hers and she ducks her head low while covering it with her hands. And just then, a cloud of smoke appears.

...it's unclear what happens next, but as the smoke clears parents are gathering their kids, and the boy is reunited with is mom and dad. Happy to be home. After thanking the girls, they head out.

Feeling proud of themselves, Flapper and Lioness return home, unharmed.

So that's what It feels like

Lioness and her family are visiting a street fair. Most booths are outside in a playground, but there is also a section of booths inside a cave. When lioness and her family decided to go in the cave, Lioness did not really find anything that was too fascinating. At the last booth, Lioness stopped. Two elderly beagle dogs were selling old (and current) currency from all over the world. Lioness wanted to find Israel's (her country of Origin), and show it to her father. Maybe he'd find it cool. He didn't seem so interested, when Flappers boyfriend, Baby Turkey looked at his own countries old money and showed it to my dad he seemed more interested. (polite?)

After BT bought a coin, and Lioness and Flapper bought a few pieces of Jewelry, on the way home everyone got ice cream, and went back home.

But that's not the end of that story. You see, while everyone was looking at the money, Lioness managed to steal one of Israel's $1,000,000 bills.  By the next day it had been announced on the news that a bill was stolen from the fair and that police were looking into it.

Guilt set over Lioness, "Shit I don't even remember taking it! I don't even know why I would do it, but now I have it". To get rid of it, she dug a hole a foot or two deep in the ground, put the money bill in a small chest and covered it. Lioness thought, no one would find it that way.

When flapper and Lioness's parents found out that the item was stolen from the news, they discussed it with the kids over dinner. Saying how serious of an offense that was. Guilt swept over Lioness. She really didn't want the damn money. She felt horrible about the whole thing, it was a big secret that she didn't know if she could keep. She wanted to yell out "I have it! Come take it" but was too afraid.  The parents looked around at everyone waiting to see if they'd crack, but Lioness stayed strong. She didn't laugh out of guilt, or give away any indication she had something to do with this. Flapper looked at  Lioness to see if she'd break. Maybe Flapper had suspicions for a brief moment.

Meanwhile, the television news was reporting that police were going to take immediate action when they find the perpetrator and prosecute them and give them jail time.

A few days later the police found the surveillance tape of the people looking at the money booth in the fair. They were closing in....on someone else. Phew! a bit of relief...but how long will it last? How long can Lioness keep this secret in?! She felt guilty, sad, and heavy. There was nothing she could do now to make it better.

While working together at a restaurant, the police announced that they found the chest with the bill, Flapper asked Lioness if she did it. Lioness couldn't control it anymore, she smiled and said no in a last effort, but Flapper caught her bluff. She flipped out and started yelling that she did it. Lioness didn't know what to do...She left the restaurant and left the customers, not thinking about them so much about how mad she was at Flapper for screaming at her in public and exposing her to others. If she was genuinely mad or concerned, why couldn't flapper talk to Lioness about it in private?

Now everyone was looking at Lioness and her guilt. She knew she shamed her family. And when her dad tried to talk to her, she couldn't and continued walking.

Lioness felt like "the most hated woman in the world". That line kept repeating itself in Lioness's head as she cried and walked home.

love the way it smells

It's summer on the Island.

By the lake with yellow sand, Lioness is enjoying the warm sand on her paws. This is the softest sand one can imagine. She finds a delicious looking insect and follows it's fast movement.  Her eyes and her head follow the beetle. She picks up the pile of sand with Mr. beetle and wonders what is the best way to stop it from slipping through her fingers.

In the clear shallow waters she jumps in, and feels refreshed (for a change). She sees little fish swimming quickly by and tries to catch them too. Too bad they all seem to scurry away. At least it's fun while it lasts...

The Tao of Honey

An ancient saying goes as following "you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar". Translation = One gets more friends or is liked more by being sweet and good natured towards others. However, has anyone ever thought of how the honey feels? Sweet little honey is nice to people and gives the flies a chance and yet they turn out to be grotesque insects. Why can't honey attract water to balance it out? Or an equally sweet vanilla? It seems as though vinegar gets all the glory, being poured into salads or used for various cooking recipes. Damn Vinegar. Honey might get the occasional bear but bears are just flies in disguise aren't they?

Sorry Lioness, now your paws are just sticky, I know how much you hate that.

"This is cliche and trite, but it is mine. Don’t sleep."

"This is me at my most honest. My most naked. I think somewhere in everyone is The Boy. No one wants to be what they are... This story is a complete waste of the eyesight you will lost reading it. When you are done you’ll ask yourself what the point was. There isn’t one. Every life has a lull in it that gets so bad and seems so long that you can’t remember when or why it started. It skips around and probably isn’t worth it but to me it reads like the bible. This is the story of a lull, read it like a crime scene report or an autopsy, because that’s all it ever was."

Poachers!

Must be!?!

They took Lioness and her family. Her hands are chained to a chair. Foreign guards with guns are watching making sure no one moves.

Do you think Lioness would stay still? She tries to rip off the chains, check if her wrists can be pushed through the handcuffs, but unfortunately she can't get them off. Fear fills the air and consumes all of Lioness. Flapper seems to be free and unaware of what is going on behind the wall separating herself and the rest of the family.

Thank the heavens that the governments military raided the place and shot all the foreign guards...

Even though it seems like a short event, for Lioness it appeared to last forever. It was still extremely terrifying.

Lioness's heart raced even after it was all over. She looked around her and saw darkness, was it all a dream?

Really bad-don't read-unedited-thought I'd write it down for later

He cares so much that he won't respond.
He cares so much that he won't fight back when I let him go. And he likes me so that he'll keep himself busy with other girls.
And he wants revenge
That's why we were friends
He'd rather let me figure things out alone
Only remembers when he needs a moan
Sweet when he's bored
got a small hunch that
Maybe he's shady
But it can't be that bad
because he must care enought to keep coming back
but in reality he puts in no effort
and I've been in bed since...
but it's okay, he's still keeping busy
He doesn't even miss me.

Chocolate and heels.
I wore my heels for you today, I bought you chocolate and went out of my way.
I mustered up the courage, I stormed in. I smiled outside. You turned around and she was tehre. I frowned inside. Once again I'm screwed. Once again I got fooled. I thought we could be more than friends. I rememered us comparing hands. Having chicken on a date, I actually ate. It was an effort- I was out of my comfort zone-now I'm alone. It'd be a lie to say I hope youre happy. This story I'm too familiar with. Heart broken. Off to dream again.

Metamorphises

Remember baby Owl? Lioness's nocturnal friend? He appeared again, this time after not seeing him for a while he seemed to become even more beautiful. He transformed into a small Alaskan Klee Kai dog (pictured above). Only a better confirmation that he is more like Lioness than previously thought.

Again Lioness was walking to school when he appeared next to her. Looking as handsome as ever. She tried to connect with him, but it was short lived for Kai (as he is now called), had someone else in mind. This broke Lioness's heart and she told Babar.

She thought maybe if she fell asleep next to him with those piercing blue eyes which she just seemed to notice in all the imaginary beauty, all would be well.

She woke up and he was gone.

Peachick

Meet baby Peachick. A well known musician on the Island, yet so well known other places around the world know and admire him as well. Peachick is not your typical handsome animal. He is no proud lion, he doesn't have the physic of a great lion, and isn't from any part  of the cat-related family. He most likely belongs to the bird family, but it is hard to categorize him into any one particular category. For Peachick, is much smarter than your average male, he is cocky and vague, all of which make him more intriguing to the females. Like modern psychology says, survival of the fittest means that one has to be rude and ruthless for others to be attracted to him and Peachick may be putting up a front like that at times to compensate for not really fitting into the mold that everyone wishes to classify him in. You see Peachick's feathers are unique. Not everyone took a liking to him, and even found him annoying because they couldn't truly understand him. He probably couldn't truly understand himself. Another admirable attribute to Peachick which draws some people in, the same way it discourages others from liking him.

Lioness always found a liking and felt a mutual connection with Peachick. Funny, because they were never friends, no Peachick is much too famous and busy for that. However Lioness did go see him once or twice at a local show he was doing with his band mates. Lioness fell in love with his lyrics, his wisdom, his depression, his pain, and the way he expressed himself and made it okay to be that way. Lioness started becoming too much like the Peachick.

Unfortunately, Peachick was always taken for a long while. Until recently.

Lioness had a feeling that if they could just meet they would get along. And so it happened that on the Island they did meet, and she instantly knew, she asked him to be her boyfriend. Flat out- just like that- she blurted it out.  He told her he would after 2 weeks. And the kiss was so real that it felt amazing. Lioness didn't care that he was not as big as most lions, or that his feathers were sort of ruffled. She just appreciated him for being him. It may sound strange, very- but sometimes the strange things are the ones that make sense in real life.

Aviophobia

It's recurring. Grey seats in rows of three on the sides. In the middle rows the grey seats are a total of four. The rows continue forward and to the back. The viewpoint is from somewhere in the middle.

How does a baby lion get on such a thing? Small enough to sneak in I guess.

She's seated somewhere in the middle of the gigantic device, on the side isle. Pretty close to a window. Some distance in front of her is the cock pilot. It moves smoothly The engines roar like a lion in the den.

Turbulence is fleeting. There's no pain. The whole affair only lasts a few seconds. And it's done.

Not so bad. It's over. That was the fear?....

But it hasn't actually been accomplished. Well, it used to be done. Quiet often she'd get on these gigantic devices. But somehow now, something was stopping her. Perhaps it was the last time she actually went on and couldn't take the turbulence...

Once it seemed like a sort of fun, thing to do. Now it was just a barricade.

There's a lot waiting once Lioness lands. She wants to land, she wants to stay for a minimal amount of time in a foreign place, but can that be done?...

Completely Over You in a Green Dress

Meet Baby Owl. A friend of Lioness for a short while. Lioness really liked him as a friend and thought maybe something greater could develop. However, since the Owl is a nocturnal animal, they were only able to hang out at night due to his job. Lioness isn't particularly fond of playing outdoors when the lights go out but she decided she would for this little owl. Despite the fun they had together, The Owl picked up on Lioness's uneasiness. He found it as a basis for mocking her behind her back. Little does he know, she found out by chicanery. Pretending to be someone else, disguising her true identity to find out information. He revealed she was too nervous for him. So for a long time he just deserted her without saying a word. Even though she went back into the woods to try to look for him. She began gave up the idea of ever being his friend, but would look back at their (although few) times with fondness.
After a bit of distance, and some searching, Lioness found Owl again. They spoke for a bit and seemed to be reconnecting. And when Owl was enrolled in Lioness's school she got to see him and was so excited. Finally she felt happy. But the happiness didn't last long, as Owl came up to tell Lioness something. "I'm completely over you" he said. There was nothing else she could do. She knew it was true, and she couldn't put up a fight to try and convince him otherwise although she really wanted to, there would be no point in doing so. She wanted to ask questions like "why?" and "can't we work it how?" and "how?" and more but all she could say was "what did I do?" but he didn't answer. And he just walked away leaving her there. Looking back to see her sitting there in her green dress sad. She knew it was true. She was sad. A familiar feeling she got from men, which was almost less hurtful since she expected it now. Dumb Lioness, stop having hope and clinging on to your past encounters.

Strange Things Occur at Night

Rockets are flying, people are taking shelter in large arenas. Inside Lioness's family den rockets are swirling around. In the larger complex den people are struck and killed by the rockets. Lioness and Flapper are trying to escape by going to the restroom, and the rockets are easily going through the walls like butter. One almost hit Lioness in the stomach, she even tried to put her hands on her stomach in anticipation for the pain, but Flapper saved her again and swung the bathroom door causing a barricade between Lioness and the Rocket which stopped just inches away from her stomach.

They survived the night. But the next day was filled with anticipation of what was to come next. Does the arena even have a shelter? Does anyone know? Lioness tried to ask the receptionist.

Thank g-d that the enemy country had a national holiday and so the rocketing stopped for the day. Although the red cross was still removing bodies. What chaos. Lioness couldn't handle another night of such stress.

It appears as though The Island, and the enemy Island reached a treaty.

At the lobby of the Arena people came up to Lioness and her parents, the Bear and the Penguin. They kissed Lioness and her parents on the cheek and greeted them warmly. The guests included a middle aged male, his wife, and their daughters, one of whom was Lioness's age. For a second it seemed as though Bear and Penguin did not recognize these people but after a few seconds remembered who they were and were talking to them. As Lioness and her Penguin mother walked a few steps ahead towards the elevator, Lioness asked "who are these people?" her mother was starting to say that it was a far aunt and was cut off but it was enough for Lioness to realize that it was some far off family relatives.

The guests daughter wanted to go shopping with Lioness and asked if she can show her around. Lioness agreed and they reached a known make-up store. However, as everyone was entering, Lioness found it quite difficult to get through the small silver wires. 'Strange how everyone can pass besides me ' thought Lioness. She got so frustrated that she couldn't figure out how to pass though the small silver wires. A woman with her babies who was sitting next to the bleachers right at the entrance (that were attached to the silver wires)  tried to help Lioness and chuckled because she didn't understand why she couldn't pass through.

Lioness became sadder and more frustrated. Until she remembered that she had her keys with her. She decided to cut the silver wires which turned out to be a much simpler task than she had expected.

Peaceful outcome...or maybe I just fell asleep with the news on again.

"Just living is not enough," said the butterfly, "one must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower." -Hans Christian Anderson

Lioness followed her pet, Nyla the Mouse, outside on a walk. Nyla was playing with other little mice, Lioness found something a few yards away. While others members of the island were talking to each other, Lioness went to give Nyla a kiss. Nyla was standing in front of a tree and when Lioness looked at what she was looking at she realized it was a butterfly in a cocoon. 'Odd' she thought to herself. I wonder what it's like to be that caterpillar. Safe in it's cocoon yet unaware of the world. Will the world hurt it? Is the world really scary and is it just better to be in that safe cocoon? How long can it last like that with out developing. Is developing into a butterfly a painful, scary process? ...Is that caterpillar even aware of the change when it happens? I wonder how it feels, since it has no one to help him through it. Does he ever just want to stay secluded? Because most butterflies prefer to be incubated and fly off into the world at some point.

But what Lioness was obviously really thinking was, "Is it safe for me, to fly out of my cocoon." Her little safe place which was dark and comforting, but at the same time energy drenching. It sucked the life out of her and it only left her sad and tired all the time. It feed her anxiety. However, strangely enough, it was such a long time since she had felt anything else that she grew to be familiar with this dark corner of her Island.

Catt Boy

Lioness ran away with Catt . Ah, young love, she is so carefree. The boy who she wanted. The boy who haunts her dreams. The boy who previously vanished into thin air and she never knew why. And just as he had suddenly disappeared, it seemed as though he had magically reappeared and ran right by her. "Shit! I look horrible" . But it was alright the boy didn't seem to see the bad parts. He saw the good and beautiful in Lioness. He just took her paw and they ran into the dark streets together alone. The rest is a blur. Another beautiful moment of the boy she wished she could have.

But the dew was now sliding slowly off the wild flower's leaves, and the sun's rays were warm and misleading as their combination woke her up.

Oh dear Lioness, don't you know it's only sleep on this Island where you'll find comfort?

The boy is long gone. He was long gone and long forgot about you.

Tuesday, March 8, 2011

Sometimes you have wonderful dreams. They seem so real, so simple they could be believed. It is a wish you want more than anything else to come true. Then you wake up, clinging to that rapidly dying hope that maybe it really did happen. But within seconds you realize that it was just a dream and disappointment takes over. Sometimes while you dream you mentally think 'this is too good to be true' and you try to convince yourself it is.

Other times, you have nightmares and are happy to be awake. Having to remind yourself that that awful feeling you woke up with was only a bad dream and didn't take place. Sometimes the bad feeling can linger with you all day long. Other lucky members of society, may see it as a great new outlook on life.

But sometimes, you do stupid things without the excuse of alcohol or other drugs. Just out of pure desire. Then you wish you were having a nightmare and that you could wake up from when really, it was you being an idiot. Nothing to take comfort in at all knowing that it was all your doing. The nightmare of reality is far worse than the one you sleep with.

Angelic Fall Over Face

Before Lioness fell completely flat on her face, she went out with Babar and Flapper. She decided to let go of some of her anxieties and just drink from the murky waters of the over 21 lake. On the prowl for attractive opposite sex members, but free. Lioness was beginning to think that it would be impossible to meet a good guy. And then just as she asked the skies out loud "Where is he?", (imitating someone Charlotte from S&TC on TV but also inquiring), A boy named Catt walked by. Flapper and Lioness noticed him and followed. They spent their night together, until Lioness decided to take a different approach to life. One that is looked wisely upon in society. She decided to go slow. Let him chase her. And not kiss him but make him wait...too bad she just waits and waits and waits...because apparently Catt boys only make one appearance before descending back into their own worlds, and their own territories with their own kinds. And Cats can't possibly mix with lions.

"Looks like a flower, but stings like a bee"

Thank G-d for this Island of the animals where everyone can interact with each other.
Unfortunately for our heroine Lioness, she ran into an old friend unexpectedly. Although she was very happy to see Mr. Snakelet, she never realizes the trap she walks into. It's always a hurricane with these guys, it will just tear you to pieces.

Lioness imagined that it was okay to talk to Snakelet again. So with a little delusional courage she decided to ask him a question about his running time. She approached Snakelet who was hanging out with an Anteater. He seemed to be disinterested in this annoying prying Anteater. So Lioness came to chat with him. While Snakelet was looking over things on his computer, Anteater was all over him. But Lioness sensed he didn't want her around. She instead gave Snakelet a hug and felt how wonderful it was to feel him close to her again. Just as Lioness was going to take a step back, Snakelet told her he'll kiss the Anteater, but with no feelings. As Lioness took a closer look, she noticed that Snakelet must have eaten a bee prior for his bottom lip had a stinger in the middle of it. Lioness's eyes grew wider as she studied the kiss to assure that it was brief and meaningless. She wanted the real kiss for herself. It was true as she blinked Anteater was taken over by the poison. She tried to rub it on Lioness who was crying, and looking at Snakelet. She pleaded with Anteater, "I'm allergic to bees!" but Anteater was determined. And so Lioness had no choice and struck out her paw, breaking the Anteaters nose. Anteater didn't seem to be too hurt, she just backed away. Feeling bad about breaking Anteaters nose, Lioness found relief in being safe.

Here are my confessions. Although the intention of revealing this I must admit is for self satisfactory reason alone. You see it is not a burden upon myself to carry this information, quite the contrary. I am almost shamefully shameless let alone proud of what I've done. I made Osprey cheat on his girlfriend,  Sphynx Cat. But you see Osprey was mine way before he belonged to Sphynx Cat. Except that he never really belonged to Lioness...

Lions and Tigers and Bears! Oh my!

It appears as though nature is not a friend of our heroine lately. First she was drowning in water and now breaking news that a tornado has hit the Lion's den has emerged.

We last left off Lioness was drowning and it seemed like no one could save her. But just as the water was beginning to take over her lungs, her trustee sister Flapper the Dolphin sensed trouble and came rushing by to help her.

However she wasn't out of trouble for too long. A huge tornado has hit the luxurious den and although Lioness has tried to stay calm, the tornado is swirling outside. Thank g-d she has a few people around to keep her on her toes. So she put a front up as if everything is okay. She hid inside the a cave until the danger passed. She looked outside the opening of the cave to see the storm pass by, swirling around picking up random things on it's way. Making a horrible loud sound. Ugh, it's too much to take, so Lioness walks deeper into the cave to distract herself with other people. Thank g-d she has school to keep her mind off of it. In school she can talk to other people and look Flapper is there too for the ride.

UPDATE: The storm has subsided, and all the animals have been cleared to leave their hiding places. Little rabbits and moles pop out of their burrows. Birds, and squirrels come out of holes in trees. The dolphin, merlins, swordfish, and salmon swim up from the water in happy dances. The bears have come out of the forest and the deer are drinking water ever so freely.

How long will this bliss last?...For now the land is care-free-but deep down the animals know danger is always just around the corner, for there will always be a predatory eagle in the sky.

dre-ality

Oh no! Our heroine is drowning in the lake. Lions aren't natural born swimmers, Lioness is trying her best to imitate a doggy-paddle but water just seeps through her fingers. White ocean bubbles are dancing around her as she grows weaker. Lioness is falling into a downward spiral and she can't get out of it.

Earlier she was walking by the edge of the sun warmed yellow sand right near the pond when she was tempted to wash her dirty toes. It was only supposed to be a dip, but the water was so clear and quiet. It was tempting. Calling her name without saying a word, it was intriguing. She wavered her palm back and forth just under the surface of the water feeling the ripples tickling.

She smiled, 'my what fun!' she thought to herself.  It got even more fun when Lioness noticed her reflection in the water. She lowered her head closer to the water to get a better look at her own reflection. She even made a few bubbles.

She looked through the clear water and saw that way down below, a golden fish was sparkling and swimming really fast right by her, he looked worried. Lioness looked beyond him and saw that other fish in all different sizes and colors were chasing him.  But she didn't care about the other fish, she wanted to know what was so special about the golden fish. Lioness swam deeper inside.

She lost sight of the golden fish.

This brings us to the present. Out of energy, all of a sudden she feels like one might trying to run in a dream but is too weak...

Night Terrors "A sleep disorder characterized by high arousal and an appearance of being terrified, unlike nightmares, night terrors ...are seldom remembered."

Our heroine is staying in some summer house which appears to be Martha's Vineyard. She is in the courtyard when someone opens the back door and a big black dog walks in. Instead of attacking, this gentle giant jumps up on Lioness and licks and sniffs her ear. She feels his weight on her but isn't too sure what to do. She manages to get outside of the courtyard when his owner, a small, brunette, chunky, short, chipper, young woman smiles and gets him off. The two exchange a few words before Lioness decides the woman is annoying and won't talk anymore. The woman still has a smile on her face and the atmosphere is not bad. So Lioness and a few family members sit on a bench. Her teeny pet  mouse Nyla sits on her lap. Someone says something to Lioness which makes her jump up and Nyla takes off. Lioness immediately jumps up in order to look for her beloved angel. She walks to the front of the park, but to no avail. "She can't be far" Lioness thinks. She continues looking for her under benches but she sees other pets who look like her but clearly aren't her Nyla. So she walks out of the park and into a ship hoping maybe Nyla is hiding somewhere. She looks in a pile of clothes on the floor but she's not there either. Lioness suddenly notices Gertrude, her Giraffe elderly grandmother. Gertrude is cooking something in her kitchen and Lioness tells her that she's missing Nyla and if she sees her please let her know. But unfortuneltely Gertrude had not see Nyla so instead Lioness says she'll inform Gertrude once she finds her (if she finds her). But Nyla can't be far away can she? She just left?

Lioness heads back to the park where she gets on a carousel hoping to get a better 360* veiw of the park. She begins to cry. 'Where could she be'? She gets off the spinning carousel and looks under a bench near the entrance of the park where the similar pets were. There under the bench, lying in a ball position, among a few bigger pets is Nyla, maybe a bit shaken but in one piece and fine. Lioness picks her up and heads back to  Gertrude, informing her that she found Nyla.

Small Theater

Lioness is sitting in a comfortable dim lighted theater. It's seats are made of soft darker red velvet. It's cozy and filled with people. The stage isn't the main focus. sitting beside Lioness is an old friend, whom Lioness doesn't speak to anymore (more on that later), named Babar. Babar and Lioness  laugh at something funny Babar said while waiting for the show to start.  Suddenly Lioness's heart skips a beat. She notices that a few rows in front of her sits an old flame named, Snakelet.

The story of Snakelet begins way before this trip to the theater. You see Snakelet used to be a good friend of Lioness, or so she thought. Until one day she realized that Snakelet was hanging out with bitches and bees and never Lionesss;-) (pun intended). One day, Lioness got the courage to  test Snakelet's friendship by asking him not to speak to her anymore. To her dismay, Snakelet decided that he could very easily do this and didn't even bother to put up a fight like what a real king would.

But back to our predicament. Lioness decided to call for back up, so she looked for her loyal sister, named Flapper. Flapper is a kind hearted, at times brutally honest creature who wouldn't hurt a fly. While she conversed with Flapper, she grabbed her wrist so that Flapper could block her from Snakelet's view.  For a few seconds it seemed to be working, but just suddenly, Snakelet was now looking directly at Lioness. As her heart beat was now loud enough to hear, she flinched to the side but before she could say anything, everyone sat down and the show began.

Lioness was staring straight ahead until she noticed a huge bald spot on Snakelet. Weird she thought, "I didn't think he had a flaw". Snakelet started looking very human all of a sudden and Lioness was a little repulsed. But do not confuse Lioness's repulsion with an attitude problem, for Lioness was only finally awakening to see the real Snakelet and his antics. All of a sudden she realized that Snakelet was not only imperfect, but he was also missing something in life. Whatever it was, he could never give it to Lioness.

Her head was telling her to move on, and she understood that. However, "to what, and how?" would be the following questions she didn't have an answer to yet. It may have just been a sign, or it could have meant nothing at all...

A Warm Welcome

Welcome to the Lionetpaw blog. This blog is based both on truth and fiction. Lionetpaw is a depiction of dreams. Our heroine, Lioness, does her utmost best to describe and articulate her dreams as accurately as possible. For when she sleeps, her dreams are amalgamations of tiny thoughts, occurrences, and inspirations from real life events. It is up to you to decide where fiction ends and truth begins. Of course our heroine wouldn't be a catalyst if she wasn't so kind and brave as to try and answer questions, so feel free to ask. And while some characters are more vulnerable than others, it has been decided on alternative names.

  Good Luck :)
